DaytoDayResponsibilities:
Thoroughknowledgeofanddemonstratedexperienceindirectingcostengineeringfunctions,includingcostestimating,control,andanalysis,andplanningandschedulingfunctions,includingscheduledevelopment,control,andanalysis,inthefieldandthehomeoffice.Experienceanddemonstratedskillinestablishingcriteriaprocessesandproceduresforcostcontrolactivities.Demonstratedskillinmanagement,supervisory,andpersonneladministrativefunctions.Demonstratedtheabilitytoplan,organize,direct,performs,review,andpresentcostengineeringandcostestimatingproducts.Withminimalsupervisionusingahighlevelofprofessionaljudgmentandknowledgerelatedtotechnicalcostmanagementskillsandpractices.Skilledinoralandwrittencommunication,withdemonstratedabilitytopresentProjectControlsCostAnalysisinformationtositeprojectmanagement.Demonstratedskillinidentifying,analyzing,andproblemsolvingskills.Knowledgeofcostcontrolsandestimatingforengineering,procurement,constructionandstart-upmanagementcustomarilyacquiredovertimethroughspecializedinstructionorpracticalexperience.Knowledgeofcurrentofoil,gasandchemicalindustriesandtechnicaldevelopments.Assistsindevelopingspecificprojectcontrolaccountsandrecommendsappropriatemodificationsandrevisions.Thisincludestrainingintheproperuseanddefinitionsforthecostaccounts.Assistsindevelopingandimplementingrequirementsforcostrecording,costcoding,reporting,andanalyzingstandards,programs,andreports.Performsperformancemonitoringandcontrolfunctionsforspecificapplications.Reviews,approvesanddevelopsthefollowing,butnotlimitedto:Supportingdevelopmentofestimatesandbudgets.Supportingthedevelopmentandapprovalofplansandschedules.Trackingperformanceagainstthebudgetsandscheduleswhilecorrelatingperformanceinformationagainsttheworkprocesses.Analyzingvariancesofbothdirecthireandcontracthireworkactivities.Identifyingtrendswheredeviationsareabouttooccurunlessactionistaken.Identifyinganddocumentingscopechangestotheprojectscope.PreparingcontentforprojectandconstructionstatusreportsCoordinatesquantifyestimatesfortrends/baselinechangeproposals.Assistsindevelopingandimplementingrequirementsforcostrecording,costcoding,reporting,andanalyzingstandards,programs,andreports.TrackinglaborchargesandratesagainstbudgetsSupportthereviewofEPCMcostandcommitmentprograms.InterfaceandcoordinateEPCMdatainputsfortheControlTower.QualityControlandDataintegritychecksforControlTowerinputsfromEPCMcontractorEstablishandmaintainregularyinputandpublicationofControlTowertositemanagement.Incorporatenewand/orupdateexistingKPI’sthatarerelevanttotheonsiteworkfrontsduringthelifecycleoftheproject.InterfaceandcoordinatedataanomalieswithhomeofficeETLprogrammers.ProvidewrittenanalysistoProjectManagementonamonthlybasisofallControlTowerKPI’sareoutsideofestablishedcontrolboundaries.

Education&Experience
B.S.inEngineering,ConstructionManagement,BusinessManagementorequivalentyearsofexperience
RequiredSkills
RecognizeddegreeinEngineering,ConstructionManagementorBusinessManagementfromanaccreditedcollegeoruniversityoraminimumof(15)year’sworkexperienceinlieuofadegree
Minimumof(10)yearsofexperiencewithcostcontroland/oraccounting,preferablyintheconstructionofmanufacturingandprocessfacilities’.
Athoroughunderstandingofcapabilitytoschedulecomplexengineeringandconstructionprojects
ProficiencyinusingPCoperatingsystemsandseveralbasicsoftwareapplicationssuchasExcel,WordandPowerPoint.ProficiencyinPrimaveraP6andoneormoreofthefollowingcostingsystems/costprocessors(Cobra,EcoSys,SAP,P6,AresG2,USCost).Alsooneormoreofthefollowingestimatingprograms(WinEst,HardDollar,USCostSuccess).
ExperienceinworkingwithprogrammersindevelopingquiresfortheETLprocess.
Priorcostcontrolonlargecapitalconstructionprojects.
Provenabilitytoleadindependentlyoncomplexprojectcontrolsissueswithsuperiorinterpersonalskills,creativesolutionandproblemsolvingskills
Strongoralandwrittencommunicationskills
Abilitytointeractcloselyandfrequentlywithsiteconstructionmanagementandoperationspersonnelwhilemaintainingnecessarylevelsofcommercialawareness
